Dr. G's Theory

From what I gather, Dr. Gerson attributes all dysfunction back to a potassium deficiency. I was thinking along the lines of a vitamin B deficiency earlier on in my research. It is really hard to say either way and here's why. Almost all veggies have potassium in them, so being potassium deficient is almost a blanketed term for not eating enough veggies. Essentially, the new western diet creates a potassium deficient society. I agree with him a thousand percent that the cause was a potassium deficiency, which in turn probably caused a cascade of other deficiencies. The outcome of these deficiencies roars its ugly head in the form of many things, arthritis, cysts, tumors, you name it.

The tricky part to researching all of this stuff is that there are a multitude of things being said by each specialist. It can be hard to keep track of what your belief system is set at from one moment to the next. The great thing, I find, is that the good ones are all essentially saying the same things, just in different ways. When you can connect the shared truths you can then make an educated decision about your healthcare.
