I am scared to even write this and have been putting it off for days for fear of jinxing myself! Here it goes, fingers crossed, knock on wood, flip your hat around and kiss the sky. I have been having the most incredible string of days that I can hardly believe it. I even find myself forgetting that I have Tarlov Cyst Disease and falling back into my old routine. I can run errands, I can wear heels, I can sit at my desk as long as I want, I can walk the trail by my house. I haven't pushed myself too much further then that as I feel lucky to be able to do what I have thus far. Two days ago I was running around outside, doing Spring things, and my legs actually got tired before my back! I really couldn't believe it and wanted to just keep going and going in case my new ability decided to go on hiatus again. I have been waiting for the other shoe to drop for days, but I am staying in the same place. Obviously, I must attribute the change to my new antioxidant vitamin and herb regimen. I am unclear if the boost in my immune system is making my body more efficient at dealing with the pain or if it is actually healing the cyst. Please, for the love of kale, let it be healing it! I now see where my previous vitamin and herb regimen went wrong, so to speak. It was designed to control inflammation (which helped tremendously and got me to where I was), but I was overlooking the great need to turbo charge my immune system so that it could eliminate the cyst all together. I am sure all my juicing and vegan diet contributed greatly to the boost in my immune system so far, so you can imagine what combining nutrition with antioxidants can do. I gotta say I am a pretty freakin big fan at the moment. I am leaving soon to go camping so I am anxious to see if I can ride my bike again...man I miss my bike. If I really can heal this thing it will be hard to determine if it is necessary to go through all the changes I did, as I did them, or if steps can be skipped. My guess is that it is a matter of turning your immune system into overdrive and it taking the cyst out. In which case, that would mean the regimen I am on at the time would be the correct and only needed one. I better not get ahead of myself though...don't want to jinx this beautiful state of the world for myself. Fingers crossed, knock on wood, flip your hat around and kiss the sky...
Hi---I have back problems and have developed Tarlov cysts..of course, you know that pain involved...yes, the vegan diet is the key to health...I have found the Hallelujah diet and it works...yes, the PH balance of the body is important and I am juicing... 6 - 8oz glasses of juice a day filled with carrot 60%, and kale, spinach, beet for the rest of 40%..I use the Green Star juicer which is not a spinning basket juicer and I get 85% of the nutrients and the juice put in glass jars stays good for 48 hrs. to 72 hrs. - I must be good again because I am suffering from pain in the stomach which means the cysts are in there now....CT Scan ruled out a lot of stuff and still ruling out...God bless you and hope you stay on this vegan diet the rest of your life.
