Sorry I haven't written in a while, I have been busy...living life. Have two better words ever been uttered together? Before I was surviving life, dealing with life, avoiding life, but never living life. That is just what I have been doing, day in and day out. I went on my camping trip and I was able to ride my bike...and then some! I climbed 2 miles down into a freaking mountain to see a waterfall and then climbed 2 miles back out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In case you missed that....I, Cheryl Bacon-Jones, Tarlov Cyst Patient, climbed a mother-fing mountain!!!!!!!!! It was the most incredible accomplishment, perhaps of my life in hindsight. It did way more than establish my new found physical abilities, it completely blew open my mind. It awakened me to the importance of believing in yourself. Don’t ever, ever let anyone (with a Ph.D. or other) tell you what you can and cannot do. As a result of this feat, I have been doing anything and everything I can to test the waters and things get better and better every day! I have barely had any issue at all with my back and can just get up and go wherever the hell I want to! Such sweet, sweet freedom. I incorporated a few new things to my program and I will write to share more on them later. I would also like to thank my wonderful friend, Elaina, for all of her help and support. I know we can find the truth together, all of us. By the way...I climbed a mountain. That's gonna be hard for me to top...no pun intended...
